Beachy-Inspired San Clemente Wedding

This past January, Courtney and Jeromy were married at the seaside Cafe 207. We loved creating a mix of lush and whimsical designs with a dash of ocean-themed details. Curly willow, green and ivory hydrangeas, amaranthus, patience roses, ranunculus, and anemones were some of our floral favorites that day. We brought in some seaside touches with elegant starfish and sweet seashells that we hung in glass baubles from the arch. What a fun mix of romance, whimsy, and the sea! Our very own, Stacey, was honored to be a guest, and to see the setup come to life (not something we usually get to stay around for). Greek-Inspired Wedding at the Vibiana

We were truly inspired when asked to create florals for this wedding by Sugar and Fluff. The bride and groom both wanted to stick with a color palette of black, white, and red with a majority of the inspiration coming from one of the most romantic fairytales of all time, Beauty and the Beast, and the Groom's Greek heritage. We used bell jars, candelabras, and tapered candles to create a glamorous yet whimsical space for the reception (which the bride attended in a beautiful Vera Wang black gown). It was so much fun to go all-out with glamour and whimsy for this truly unique wedding.

Styled Shoots 2012

About 2 or 3 times a year we get asked to participate in a "styled shoot".  They are fun, and a way to be super creative.  Here are two that we worked on in 2012.  Luckily, they were both picked up by Green Wedding Shoes.

The first one took place at The Foley in Capo Beach.  It featured Claire Pettibone dresses and the location couldn't have fit the dresses more perfectly.  Stacie Truitt of Gatherings By Stacie did a great job of styling this shoot and giving us some great ideas to run with!  Photos courtesy of the amazingly talented Stephanie Williams Photography.  See the Green Wedding Shoes feature HERE.

The second styled shoot last year took place at The Villa in San Juan Capistrano.  This was a labor of love for prior bride Christine and her awesome husband AJ of Adrian Jon Photography.  She is an up and coming wedding planner and he is a very spectacular photographer.  Mint and Brass....can you say "trend alert"!!
